ROSES

Part two of my valentine special. I had this creative idea before I even started blogging. Drawing inspiration from other blogs, instagram and endless searching on the internet, I thought how great would it be to integrate flowers within portraits. I wanted to create an atmosphere of delicacy, elegance, fragility and strength, so I had to be critical in choosing the flowers I used. In the end I chose the most simple and beautiful of all, roses.

Over the summer, I finally took action on my plan to shoot profile shots and with a little editing these are the results. I really hope you'll enjoy them and hopefully more creative posts will come! Thank you for all your patience during #thenew5ft10's transition. It has meant so much to me! I'll post an update tomorrow about all the feedback and questions that I've received regarding this transition.
